Now available are also Walking in Memphis downtown tours that are a combination walking tour and trolley ride enabling you to explore the rich architecture and culture of downtown Memphis.
The walking tour starts from the lobby of the legendary Peabody hotel, you'll stroll up Union Avenue, past WDIA radio, stopping in the historic Cotton Exchange Building. A rooftop view of the Mississippi River along the way proves you get a better sense of the town when you are on foot.
Highlights: Peabody Hotel, Radio Station WDIA, The Historic Cotton Exchange Building, Secret River Views, Court Square, The Pinch District, The Mysteries of South Main Arts District, The Lorraine Motel, The Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street.
