This 15th century mound interprets the pre-history of the Mid-South, contemporary Southeastern Indian cultures, and serves as a gateway into understanding the science of archeology through artifacts, displays, video and hands-on archaeology laboratory exhibits.
The C.H. Nash Museum allows visitors to explore the culture of the prehistoric people who built the Chucalissa earthwork complex. The Museum also contains exhibits on the African American community of Southwest Memphis.
