Main Street Trolley

The Memphis Area Transit Authority operates three Trolley lines. The Main Street Trolley rail line returned April 30, 2018. Rubber-wheeled Trolley buses are used to provide service on the Madison and Riverfront lines (which  service the Downtown and Midtown areas) until the rest of the rail vintage trolleys are restored. Information regarding the current Trolley schedule is posted on matatransit.com. Customers can also call 901.274.MATA (6282) or visit the nearest Transit Center at 444 N. Main Street for information or to purchase Trolley passes. For customers who board Trolley vehicles without a pass, exact fare is required. Operators do not make change.
