OVERTON PARK Shell Concerts
Late August - October 2024
Free live music every week at the historic amphitheater where Elvis performed his first show? Yes please! The Overton Park Shell brings its ultra-popular free shows this fall with a lineup of touring and local acts on Fridays and Saturdays. Picnics are welcome, or grab dinner from an onsite food truck. Plus, the Shell is partnering with Deaf Connect of the Mid-South to feature Certified Deaf Interpreters at each show.

Southern Heritage Classic
September 12-14, 2024
The historic football matchup between HBCUs Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Tennessee State University is held annually at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis. This year’s game is on Saturday, September 14 with pre-game tailgating and Battle of the Bands, plus the legendary halftime show featuring the schools' bands.

The historic Orpheum Theatre hosts traveling Broadways shows for their 2024-2025 season, including MJ (September 17-22, 2024), Girl from the North Country (October 8-13, 2024), Moulin Rouge! The Musical (October 29 - November 3, 2024), Peter Pan (November 26 - December 1, 2024) and more through July 2025.

The 21st annual celebration of punk rock returns in 2024 with three days of shows from nearly 30 bands, including Jon Spencer, Derv Gordon, The Rip Offs, Cheater Slicks and many more. Railgarten, a railyard hangout in Midtown Memphis, plays host to this year's festival.
