2021 MEMPHO DATES ANNOUNCED

One of Memphis' newer music festivals, Mempho, has just announced — after taking a year off due to COVID-19 — that it will make a comeback Oct. 1-3, 2021, at Radians Amphitheater at Memphis Botanic Garden. The team behind the fest is committed to working with local and state health officials to create a safe experience and promises to announce its lineup soon. Stay tuned for details, and in the meantime, reflect on the sizzling lineups of fests past that earned Mempho a nomination for “Best New Festival” at the FestX Awards in its inaugural year (2017) . . .

Past LINE-UPS

Since its inception, Mempho has hosted acts from Janelle Monae to Brandi Carlile, Wu-Tang Clan to The Raconteurs. And you can always count on the fest to spotlight local musicians through specially curated sets. Past local spotlights have featured Memphis luminaries including DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, blues legend Bobby Rush and the alt/country/rock band Lucero.

THE LOCATION

Seeing the line-up is enough to get music fans excited, but imagine how being at Mempho feels: You’re surrounded by the oasis of Memphis Botanic Garden, a 96-acre green space full of wooded, manicured and themed gardens, each with its own aesthetic. While you'll feel like you're worlds away, the garden is nestled in the heart of the city, near the original shops and restaurants of East Memphis.

TICKET INFO

Here’s what we love about Mempho's ticket options: You can totally customize your Mempho experience. Check back for details, but note that past fests offered single-day general admission as well as VIP options complete with private performances and meet-and-greets with musicians, catered meals and complimentary massages.
