This two-story, log and chink home made of white oak logs immediately transports visitors back to the pioneer days before electricity, telephones, separate bedrooms, and even indoor plumbing. Along with period furnishings, Davies Manor Plantation also has displays of quilts during special events. Limited wheelchair access.
Davies Manor is the oldest furnished log-and-chink home in Shelby County open for tours. Also on the grounds is Hillwood, a modern wedding space with ample room for 400 guests. Catering service available.
