Lafayette's Music Room

During the 1970s, Lafayette's Music Room had a reputation of showcasing musical legends such as Billy Joel, Kansas, Big Star, and Kiss. With Lafayette's reopening, live music back to Overton Square. There are two music sets each night. The first features smooth jazz and blues favorites and the later set cranks it up a bit - all featuring popular local artists. It's the perfect intimate setting to hear some great music and have some wonderful Southern cooking inspired by dishes from the Mississippi Delta down to New Orleans. Po-boys, shrimp & grits, baked oysters and wood-fired pizza are just a few of the specialties offered at Lafayette's Music Room.
