The Mollie Fontaine Lounge

Mollie Fontaine is a trendy night spot on the outskirts of Downtown Memphis. The lounge is an old Victorian mansion that has been reconfigured into one of the hippest places around. The menu changes seasonally and focuses on small plates, separated into sections: Garden (avocado tempura), Land (lamb souvlaki), and Sea (Spanish-style garlic shrimp). This casual eatery has a full bar where drinks are imaginative and the pours are strong. The seating is "lounge-chic," so you won't find large tables (or any tables at all) surrounded by chairs, but rather an eclectic mix of mis-matched easy chairs, couches and love seats.
