All aboard! The Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum is just a hop, skip & a jump east of Memphis, Tennessee. This homage to Casey Jones, a heroic railroad engineer who saved all the passengers on a train by slowing it down before it hit another train stalled on the tracks, is a great family attraction that offers great food, shops and fun for the entire family.
Casey Jones Village also houses the Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store and Restaurant and Wellwood Coutnry Store. The best whistlestop between Memphis and Nashville offering great history, world famous Southern cooking and shopping all in a charming 1890's atmosphere including a collection of over 15,000 Southern country antiques on display.
