NEW YEAR'S EVE ON BEALE STREET

From bar crawls to karaoke to late-night dance parties and, of course, tons of live music, Beale Street is lively year-round, but especially on New Year's Eve. There isn't another New Year's Eve experience quite like it, as tens of thousands of people gather in the iconic street's bars and restaurants to rock in the new year. Be sure to keep track of the giant disco ball as it ascends its 50-foot tower as it gets closer to midnight. Count down to 2024 with fireworks, confetti, live DJs and more on Beale.

Note: Beale Street will be 21-and-up beginning at 9:30 p.m.

PARTY AT THE PEABODY

The Peabody has held a solid place in Memphis’ social scene for decades (check back in summer for info on the hotel’s sultry rooftop parties). On New Year’s Eve, the lobby and mezzanine will fill with revelers dancing to live sets from bands and DJs, including Seeing Red, Southbound and DJ A.D. Tickets start at $65 per person if you purchase online or $75 at the door.

Ring in 2024 with the Memphis Grizzlies

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies are back at FedExForum, ready to take on the Sacramento Kings. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Take in all the high-flying action before taking the victory party to Beale Street for a New Year’s Eve party to remember.
