New Year's Eve on Beale Street

From bar crawls to karaoke to late-night dance parties and, of course, tons of live music, Beale Street is lively year round, but especially on New Year's Eve. There isn't another New Year's Eve experience quite like it, as tens of thousands of people gather in the iconic street's bars and restaurants to rock in the new year. Be sure to keep track of the giant disco ball as it ascends its 50-foot tower as it gets closer to midnight. Count down to 2023 with fireworks, confetti, live DJs and more on Beale.

Before you go, consider getting the Beale Street Fast Pass. This $100 pass includes cover charges for multiple Beale Street clubs and bars.

Note: Beale Street will be 21-and-up beginning at 9:30 p.m.

Party at the Peabody

The Peabody has held a solid place in Memphis’ social scene for decades (check back in summer for info on the hotel’s sultry rooftop parties). On New Year’s Eve, the lobby and mezzanine will fill with revelers dancing to live sets from Southbound, Seeing Red and DJ Epic. Tickets purchased before Dec. 30 are $65 or $75 at the door. VIP tickets are $250 and include access to the VIP lounge, party favors, an appetizer buffet, champagne and valet parking. Get your tickets today and extend your party into 2023 by booking a room at the "South's Grand Hotel."

Celebrate at Hernando's Hideaway

RSVP to ring in the new year at Hernando's Hideaway. Celebrate at this local-favorite honky tonk with rock and country pianist Jason D. Williams. Order your favorite drink to go along with mouthwatering bar fare, like patty melts, BBQ nachos and more, as you count down to midnight.
