Hadestown: Teen Edition

New Spark Performing Arts presents Hadestown! This full-length edition of Hadestown features an incredibly talented teen cast, including recent National High School Theater Award Best Lead Actor winner Bradley Bolden as Orpheus. Hadestown tells the story of two interwoven myths: Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. It reimagines the classic Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, set in a post-apocalyptic world inspired by New Orleans. In the story, Orpheus, a talented musician, falls in love with Eurydice, a young woman seeking a better life. When Eurydice is drawn to Hades' underground factory, Hadestown, promising stability and comfort, Orpheus ventures to the underworld to bring her back, facing a deal with Hades and a test of his love and faith.
