Artists’ Link is pleased to usher in the season of spring 2025 with its exhibit at the Memphis Botanic Garden. The exhibit features over 50 artworks by its members working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, woodcut, fiber, weaving, ceramic materials, stained glass, and metals. All artworks are for sale.
The exhibit will open on Sunday, May 4, with a public reception from 3-5 pm. Cash awards selected by Professor Richard A. Lou of the University of Memphis Department of Art and Design will be announced at 4 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
Artists’ Link is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1989 for and by visual artists. Since then the group incorporated as a 501(c)(3) as of September 2000 and has grown to a current membership of 187 artists. Exhibitions are a vital part of Artists’ Link’s purpose and goals which introduce member artists and their works to new and loyal communities of art lovers.
Artists’ Link holds monthly business meetings with a planned program and organizes local exhibitions for its members at local public venues. The organization also provides annual art scholarships and financial support for other worthy Memphis organizations. Since 2011, Artists’ Link has co-sponsored “Incognito” to support programs at the Memphis Botanic Garden.
