Literacy Mid-South's Leading in Literacy Awards Luncheon

We are delighted to announce our National Leading in Literacy Honoree, Dr. Erica Armstrong Dunbar, acclaimed historian, author, HBO’s The Gilded Age Co-Executive Producer, and advocate for equity in education. Joining her as our Thought Partner will be Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings, renowned scholar of culturally relevant pedagogy. Together, they will engage our community in a dynamic conversation on our theme, “Literacy to Liberation: Reclaiming the Power of Reading in Our Communities.”
