Exhibition Overview: "ART SPEAKS – Visual Poetry & Art Inspired by Words"
The Memphis Art Salon proudly presents ART SPEAKS: Visual Poetry & Art Inspired by Words, an innovative exhibition running from April 5 to May 31, 2025.
This dynamic showcase explores the powerful intersection of language and visual expression, bringing together artists who draw inspiration from literature, poetry, music, and spoken word.
Featuring diverse works including paintings, mixed media, installations, and typography-infused pieces, ART SPEAKS transforms text into vibrant, thought-provoking visuals. The exhibition will include interactive experiences, such as a collaborative poetry-art mural, live poetry readings, and artist-led workshops on visual storytelling through words.
The opening reception on April 5, 2025, will feature an artist panel discussion, spoken-word performances, and a "Words to Art" session, where attendees can witness poetry come to life through illustration.
This exhibition is a celebration of artistic synergy, inviting both seasoned art enthusiasts and newcomers to engage with the beauty of words reimagined through art. All work on display will be for sale.
The selection of featured artists is currently under review, will be announced March 5th, 2025.
