Celebrate Juneteenth
Every June, the Bluff City honors the national holiday with weeks of festivals, concerts, community markets, and cultural experiences rooted in Memphis' deep Black history. The national holiday falls on Friday, June 19, 2026, but celebrations are happening all weekend long.
Downtown Memphis Brew Hop
From June 15–21, Downtown Brew Hop brings together eight local taprooms and breweries for a week packed with special events, new beer releases, food trucks, tastings, brewery tours, giveaways and more.
Tri-State Black Pride Weekend
Tri-State Black Pride celebrates a major milestone this year — a full decade of uplifting Black LGBTQ+ culture and community in Memphis. The 10th anniversary weekend (themed “Our Rhythm, Our Resistance, Our Pride”) packs four days with parties, performances, educational programming, and a music festival.

City of Memphis vs. Shelby County Government Softball Game at AutoZone Park

The Memphis Redbirds will host the City of Memphis vs. Shelby County Government Softball Game in honor of Juneteenth and Memphis’s rich baseball history at AutoZone Park. Fans are invited to witness an exciting exhibition rematch featuring elected officials and community leaders, including Commissioners Matthew Szalaj, Mickell Lowery, and Charlie Caswell, Jr., along with representatives from Shelby County Government and the City of Memphis, as they lead their respective teams in a celebration of unity, community, and friendly competition.
