The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku translates to “taking in the forest atmosphere,” but is commonly called “forest bathing.” It’s the art of using all one’s senses to notice and appreciate the living forest, and it has benefits for physical and mental health. Take a midday break to practice forest bathing in the Old Forest State Natural Area at Overton Park, as Tina Sullivan guides us in a slow, gentle walk.
Suggested donation is $3 per person.
This program will be held on accessible surfaces.
