The Sapphire Golf Tour is a professional sports platform advancing sports equity by showcasing elite women of color and creating visible pathways for the next generation. As we bring this major women’s sporting event to our city, I want to thank you for your leadership and for the work you do to elevate Memphis — and for your shared excitement about what this moment can represent.

This weekend is bigger than golf. It’s a city-wide opportunity to create positive civic momentum, generate national visibility, and put Memphis at the center of a growing movement in women’s sports and sports equity — all while introducing the game to young people who often never get close enough to see it as “for them.”
