Roland Barber Quintet ft. Joel Frahm

Roland Barber returns to Memphis, TN with a show featuring music for jazz quintet! He will be performing alongside powerhouse saxophone titan Joel Frahm. Rounding out the band will be a wave of young geniuses invigorating the Nashville Scene. On piano, you'll find Alex Murphy, whose influences span from Mulgrew Miller to Robert Glasper. On the drum kit, young phenom Christian Burgs, and on the bass, Jack Aylor. Expect to hear modern and original music that speaks to the heart, soul, mind and toes. You'll also hear a nod to the history of the music standards, and a ballad or two for the long time jazz listener.
