Concerts in The Grove: The MD's

Local musicians Joe Restivo, Landon Moore, Pat Fusco, and Graham Winchester join forces as The MD’s, the only Booker T. & the MG’s tribute band in the legendary group’s hometown of Memhis! The MD’s play anything and everything that Booker T. & the MG’s recorded, whether that be their own original records or backing tracks they laid down for singers like Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and Rufus Thomas during their tenure as the Stax Records house band. Come relive the heyday of Soulsville U.S.A. with The MD’s! Join us for Concerts in The Grove presented by SouthWorth Capital Management on select Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM as we present some of the area's best musicians on the Highland Capital Stage. Enjoy music, food trucks, and corn hole, all in the beautiful, park-like setting of the TruGreen Lawn. Cocktails and drink specials are available on the First Horizon Foundation Plaza. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Outside food and drinks are permitted at Concerts in The Grove. Gates open at 5:30 PM. Food Trucks: Green Beetle, Carmelita's Tacos & TCBY General Admission Tickets: Adult tickets are $13, kids ages 5-18 are $8, and kids 4 and under are free. Everyone attending must have a ticket. Don’t feel like bringing chairs or a blanket? Try our new table section directly in front of the stage. We’ll do all the heavy lifting while you and your friends enjoy a VIP-seating experience.
