Concerts in The Grove: Hope Clayburn's Soul Scrimmage

Saxophonist and vocalist Hope Clayburn and her band, the Soul Scrimmage, have been creating energetic and danceable soulful grooves in the Memphis music scene for almost 20 years. Hope has performed around the world with artists like the Temptations, the Allman Brothers Band, and James Brown in addition to several of your favorite local bands like Lucky 7 Brass Band, DJ A.D. and the Vibe Tribe, and Almost Elton John. With the Soul Scrimmage, Hope combines contemporary and old-school soul, funk, and rock with tinges of jazz and world music to create a unique Memphis Sound. Their show will get you tapping your feet and moving out of your seat!

Join us for Concerts in The Grove presented by SouthWorth Capital Management on select Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM as we present some of the area's best musicians on the Highland Capital Stage. Enjoy music, food trucks, and corn hole, all in the beautiful, park-like setting of the TruGreen Lawn.  Cocktails and drink specials are available on the First Horizon Foundation Plaza. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Outside food and drinks are permitted at Concerts in The Grove. Gates open at 5:30 PM.

General Admission Tickets: Adult tickets are $13, kids ages 5-18 are $8, and kids 4 and under are free. Everyone attending must have a ticket.
