Porter-Leath Toy Truck at Poplar Plaza

Donate to the 24th Annual Porter-Leath Toy Truck and Help Bring Holiday Joy to 5,000 Local Preschool Children. 

Porter-Leath is rallying the Mid-South to help brighten the holidays for local children through its annual Toy Truck collection drive. Since 2001, Toy Truck has provided gifts for thousands of preschoolers. In 2025 the need is greater than ever. Porter-Leath’s recent expansion through Head Start means the organization now provides gifts for more than 5,000 children under age five. Community members can support the effort by bringing new, unwrapped toys or making financial contributions at any of the three Toy Truck weekends in December. Donated toys should be developmentally appropriate for young children, including items such as puzzles, dolls, trucks, and building blocks. Supporters can also give by texting TOY to 50155. The first $50,000 of monetary gifts will be matched by a Secret Santa in the community.
