William's Walk 2026

Come join us for the second annual walk to support William's Walk! This in-person event will be held at Society Memphis Skatepark and Coffee, with a walk down Broad Avenue, and will help raise awareness and support efforts to improve pedestrian safety in Memphis.

The day includes a community walk along Broad Avenue, music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and the chance for residents to come together around the urgent need for safer streets in Memphis.

William's Walk was founded by Michael and Rebekah McConnell after they lost their son, William, in a pedestrian crash. Out of that loss, they created a movement to make sure every child, neighbor, and family in Memphis can walk safely in their community. When you join us, you're part of that mission.
