CGA July 4th Parade

The Central Gardens Association will host its annual July 4th Parade on Friday, July 4, 2025, this year on Belvedere Boulevard north of Peabody. Parade festivities will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the parade beginning at 10:30 AM.

The event will include live Bluegrass and Second Line marching bands, along with hot dogs (free while supplies last), popsicles, and coffee from Byway Coffee. Plus Squirt, Subaru’s vintage Japanese fire engine!

For the first time in several years, parade floats will return, and a series of contests will be held with awards given in the following categories:

• Most Patriotic Pet

• Best Float

• Most Patriotic Attire

• Best Decorated House (new in 2025)

Registration to participate in the pet, float and attire categories takes place the morning of the parade from 9:00-10:30 AM in front of 206 S. Belvedere.

Neighborhood residents are encouraged to decorate their homes for the holiday. Judging for the Best Decorated House will take place during the week of July 4, as committee members tour the neighborhood in search of standout displays, with the winner being announced at the parade.

All are welcome to attend — you do not have to be a Central Gardens resident to enjoy the parade. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join in this festive Fourth of July celebration.
