Southwest Tennessee Community College Open House and Career Fair

Southwest Tennessee Community College presents its 4th Annual Open House and Community Career Fair on April 8, 2026.  This event is designed to help you explore career pathways, connect with employers, and engage with programs that support your continued professional growth.

Open House also spotlights the college’s premier programs—including Nursing and Healthcare and our Career and Technical Education pathways—and features an industry panel, tours of our nursing building, immersive simulation labs, mobile career exploration labs, and a community career fair with up to 40 companies actively hiring.

We are excited to have as our keynote speaker, Commissioner John Dunn from the Tennessee Department of Health, at our sponsored luncheon. This year’s theme, “From Classroom to Career: Exploring Healthcare Pathways,” highlights Southwest’s expanding impact as an anchor institution in the Memphis Medical District and its role in preparing the region’s health care workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with renowned industry leaders from Memphis’ healthcare sector, connect with top employers, network with peers, meet our expert faculty, and discover all that Southwest has to offer.
