Join us for a lovely evening of stitching, sipping, and vintage shopping as we welcome Caitlyn Maas from Geraldine and Virginia Needlepoint for a hands-on beginner class at Heirloom House.

This is one of our most popular events in our new location and we’re thrilled to kick the new space off with something creative, calming, and classic! 

What’s Included

• Needlepointers who’ve already learned the basics of needlepoint are invited to  join Stitchers Memphis along with Geraldine and Virginia Needlepoint for an evening of adding new stitches to your needlepoint repertoire. Together, we’ll stitch this stunning magnolia design and add some fun decorative stitches.

  This class is for stitchers who’ve mastered the art of continental or basketweave and are ready to take things to the next level. You’ll learn the basics of decorative stitches along with tips and tricks to make your needlepoint projects pop. Learn how to read a stitch diagram, best practices for decorative stitches, when to use them, and how to compensate when stitching. 

  Fee includes this hand-painted canvas by Geraldine and Virginia Needlepoint, all the fibers you’ll need, and a needle. (Please bring scissors, your preferred stitching tools, and stretcher bars for a 7x7” canvas if desired.) 

  Please note- this class is not for beginners! It’s designed for those who have already learned the basic continental or basketweave stitch. Watch for announcements about future beginner classes if you’re new to needlepoint and looking to begin!
