The Metal Museum offers a roster of innovative and affordable classes in blacksmithing, welding, casting and non-ferrous metals. Whether it's a "taster," a three-hour, one-day or weekend workshop, you are sure to learn a lot, have fun and make beautiful metal items that you can be proud of.


This class covers the fundamentals of bladesmithing. You will learn to forge, grind, harden, temper, and sharpen a knife. We will discuss steel selection and the principles of blade design and geometry. Expect to take home your finished chef's knife on the second day.
