Join us for a special edition of Art & Aperitifs on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM. In this lively conversation, Curator Efe Igor Coleman sits down with Artist David Uzochukwu to explore his first solo museum exhibition and the themes of migration, belonging, and identity that shape his work. From collaborating with global figures such as Pharrell Williams, FKA Twigs, and Little Dragon to developing his distinctive digital collage practice, Uzochukwu brings together image-making, cultural memory, and storytelling. They will discuss his self-taught path, his layered creative process, and how personal and collective histories inform his bold, contemporary vision. Part of the museum’s Art & Aperitifs series, this program invites guests to experience art through conversation in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Come curious, enjoy a refreshing afternoon at your art museum, and gain a deeper understanding of one of today’s most exciting contemporary artists. Reserve your spot and join the conversation.
