Guide to Easter Egg Hunts, Bunny Photos and Events in Memphis

The race is on! Here’s a guide to upcoming Easter egg hunts and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Some of these events will offer both.

Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Egg Eggstravaganza Friday, April 3 | 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 

Morris Park | 751 Poplar Ave. | FREE

Memphis Parks is hosting age-specific Easter egg hunts — no preregistration required, first come first served. Hunt times: ages 4 & under at 10:15 a.m., ages 5–7 at 11:00 a.m., ages 8–10 at noon, and ages 10–12 at 1:00 p.m.

Riverfront Easter Festival Saturday, April 4 | 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. 

Mud Island River Park – South Field | 101 Island Dr. | FREE

One of Memphis' largest family Easter celebrations, hosted by City Changers. Enjoy massive egg hunts for multiple age groups, live music, games, food vendors, local businesses, and activities for the whole family. Free tickets required via Eventbrite.

Come-N-Go Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4 | 1:00–3:30 p.m. 

Range Hills Baptist Church | 2741 Frayser Blvd. | FREE

Drop by anytime for a flexible Easter egg hunt — no set start time, just show up when it works for you. Baskets provided. Hunts kick off whenever families arrive.

Kroc Memphis Easter Egg-stravaganza Saturday, April 4 | 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 

The Salvation Army Kroc Center | 800 East Parkway South | FREE

An annual Easter celebration featuring egg hunts, inflatables, games, devotions, photo ops, food and concessions, and more. Free and open to the public — no tickets needed.

Easter Egg Hunt at Tanger Outlets Memphis Saturday, April 4 | 8:00–10:00 a.m. 

Tanger Outlets Memphis | 5205 Airways Blvd., Southaven, MS | FREE 

Head to the playground area for an Easter egg hunt (starts at 9 a.m.), the Memphis Hustle Hype Crew, DJ Annie, Easter Bunny photos, face painting, balloon twisters, mini golf, carnival games, and a photo booth. Bring your baskets and arrive early — Golden Eggs hidden throughout the hunt offer additional prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt at Dixon Gallery & Gardens Saturday, April 4 | 9:00–10:30 a.m. 

Dixon Gallery & Gardens | 4339 Park Ave. $15 per child | $12 members | Space limited

Hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny in the gardens! Check-in at 9:00 a.m., with hunts starting at 9:30 a.m. for ages 3 and under and 9:40 a.m. for ages 4–8. Juice and healthy snacks provided to-go. Registration required — check Dixon.org by 8:30 a.m. on event day for weather cancellations.

Easter Bunny Photos at Saddle Creek March 28–April 4 | Select dates

 Saddle Creek South | 7515 Poplar Ave., Germantown | FREE

Hop over to Saddle Creek South for photos with the Easter Bunny — find him on the corner between Sephora and UNTUCKit. Each visitor receives a free digital and printed photo. Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome. Dates: Saturday 3/28 (10 a.m.–2 p.m.), Sunday 3/29 (noon–4 p.m.), and Saturday 4/4 (10 a.m.–2 p.m.).

Free Easter Bunny Photos at Bass Pro Shops March 21–22 & March 28–April 5 | Hours vary by day

Bunny Run 5K Saturday, April 4 | 8:00 a.m.–Noon 

Cancer Survivors Park | 701 Perkins Ext. $35 runners | $25 virtual

Lace up for a good cause — this 5K benefits SRVS Kids, empowering children with disabilities. Kid's Run and Family Parade at 8:35 a.m., race at 9:00 a.m. Plus an egg hunt, children's games, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Open Studio: Easter Cookie Decorating Saturday, April 4 | 2:00–3:30 p.m. 

Muddy's Bake Shop | 701 S. Cooper St. Tickets by the table (seats up to 3) | Ages 6+

Drop in for a self-guided Easter cookie decorating session — each table comes with 12 cookies, buttercream icing in three colors, tips, sprinkles, and a box to take your creations home. No experience needed, just bring your creativity. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Afternoon Tea with the Easter Bunny Sunday, April 5 | Noon–3:30 p.m. 

Chez Philippe at The Peabody Memphis | 149 Union Ave. $75 adults | $40 children

A three-course tea service featuring savory tea sandwiches, assorted sweets, and warm scones from the Peabody Pastry Shop. Choose from a selection of teas — including caffeine-free options for kids — and enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny.
