What is Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience?
This event projects Van Gogh artwork on the walls of a 20,000 square foot art exhibit, incorporating moving visuals and a soundtrack. Graceland Exhibition Center will host Beyond Van Gogh from March 25 through June 5, 2022.
Tickets start at $46.99 for adults (11+) and $21.99 for kids (ages 5-10) on weekends and holidays. Prices are lower on weekdays. Kids 4 and under are free with an adult. If you have eight or more people in your group, call 901-332-3322 to purchase tickets. Get all the info here.
This event is made for Instagrammers and Starry Night lovers. It’s good for kids, adults, date nights, and small group hangs. For the hour-long experience, you’ll walk through the projections at your reserved time.
You have to be on time, and masks are recommended. Seating throughout the exhibit is limited and should be reserved for those with mobility limitations, though it is wheelchair accessible.

About The Guest House At Graceland
If you're coming in town for this, you can stay in style at the Guest House at Graceland hotel. The rooms and public area are swanky and comfortable, perfect for a staycation or to start off your trip to Memphis. There’s a nice restaurant (Delta’s Kitchen) and fun bar (EP’s) inside, and a shuttle bus to take you cross the street to the Exhibition Center.

More About the Van Gogh “Experiences”
TL;DR: this isn't the same show allegedly coming to Nashville that keeps getting postponed.
Various Van Gogh “experiences” similar to this one have been going viral on social media for several years now. Most of them travel around the country, so you’ve probably seen someone you know post about it or have even been yourself. All the shows have very similar, almost identical names and it can be confusing.
I went down a rabbit hole about the Van Gogh immersive art as a trend and to figure out if this one was “legit” so if anyone wants to nerd out with me on Twitter or compare experiences, be my guest.
This one coming to Graceland is called Beyond Van Gogh, and it’s not the one that’s been postponed in Nashville, and it’s not the one that has a website naming Memphis but no dates or venue.
The one that’s coming here is very specifically Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, those exact words in that exact order. Info can be found at VanGoghMemphis.com or @vangoghmemphis on Instagram. (DO NOT GET CONFUSED with Memphis Van Gogh dot com or their social media.)
A good rule of thumb is that if you can buy actual tickets and dates and venue are clearly shown, it’s legit. I haven’t been to this myself so I can’t judge the experience yet, but I can say that Beyond Van Gogh folks have been extremely professional and easy to work with, and that the team at Graceland excited to host. That’s a great sign to me!
