• Loflin Yard* - Loflin is downtown’s hip hangout that’s almost entirely outdoors with a sprawling lawn, and plenty of chairs, snacks and drinks.
• Central BBQ Downtown* - Enjoy Memphis’ signature cuisine in this spacious covered patio with big picnic tables in the South Main Arts District.
• Terrace at the River Inn - The River Inn boasts one of the best views of the Mighty Mississippi at the Terrace’s covered rooftop bar.
• The View Rooftop Bar - Starting March 15th on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (weather premitting) at 4:00pm, the roof of the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown offers a full bar, breathtaking views of downtown Memphis and live local music.  
• Carolina Watershed - Share a plate of mouth-watering wings and sip on local beer in this mostly-outside establishment with levels of seating in a landscaped cove downtown.
• Old Dominick Distillery - When the upstairs bar is open, you can enjoy the distillery’s rooftop and sip on  Memphis-made spirits, plus take in the view of the city’s iconic bridge.
• Felicia Suzanne’s* - Take your white tablecloth dining experience outdoors at Felicia’s upscale patio to sample her Southern fare.
• Majestic Grille * - People watch along Main Street just outside of this historic Art Deco restaurant, a local brunch favorite.
• Bluff City Coffee* - Start your day with a cuppa and pastries from the sidewalk patio at South Main’s neighborhood coffee shop.
• Ghost River Brewing Taproom * - Try a Ghost River Gold or a Riverbank Red on this craft brewery’s taproom patio, where you can usually find a food truck and something fun to do, like trivia, music, or pop-up shops.

Beale Street

• Bleu at the Westin - Before an NBA Grizzlies game - or just for fun - sample Bleu’s in this patio just across the street from FedExForum and steps away from Beale Street
• Silky O'Sullivan's - It’s huge, it’s got goats, and it’s the best place in town to enjoy a Diver cocktail served in it's own bucket out-of-doors on Beale Street.
• Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe - Take your pick of patios at this Memphis legend’s namesake bar: you can sit by the fountain in the courtyard or head up to the second-floor balcony for a great view of Beale Street.

• Crosstown Brewing Co.* - Get a great view of the Concourse building from the patio in front of Crosstown Brewing. Try a special seasonal brew and have some dinner delivered from a recommended restaurant.
• High Cotton Brewing Co.* - While perhaps not technically a patio by the strictest of definitions, the brick-lined breezeway at is perfect for a refreshing local beer in the shade.

• Muddy's Midtown* - Arguably the cutest coffee shop in town, the award-winning Muddy’s bakery serves delectable treats plus coffee and tea with plenty of outdoor seating.
• Slider Inn* - If you want to go where the locals go, the Slider Inn’s patio is midtown’s gathering spot for sliders, boozy slushies, and lobster rolls. 21+ in the evenings.
• Central BBQ Midtown* - Enjoy your ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and BBQ nachos on the big patio at Central BBQ’s original location.
• Railgarten - Railgarten is so much more than just a patio: this popular hangout offers games, a live music stage, ping pong, and sand volleyball courts in addition to the diner and ice cream parlor.

• Hammer & Ale* - The best way to sample all the local Memphis beers in one session (sample being the key word here) is at Hammer & Ale. Pair a beer flight with a pimento grilled cheese sandwich on their patio.
• Cafe Ole* - Sip on a margarita and enjoy the Tex Mex on the lush deck of this umbrella-filled popular patio.

• Lafayette's Music Room - For two levels of Southern-style food and great drinks, sit on the patio at Lafayette’s, in the shade downstairs or up on the balcony with a great view of the square.
• Memphis Pizza Cafe Midtown* - Sit in the shade and enjoy a slice of pizza or calzone overlooking the Overton Square Tower Courtyard.
• Belly Acres* - Take the whole family to this farm-inspired eatery; there are plenty of umbrellas and outdoor tables to enjoy your burgers in the fresh air. 
• Robata Ramen & Yakitori Bar* - This Asian eatery in Overton Square offers sidewalk-level seating for your al fresco ramen, yakitori, and sake needs.

• Maciel's Highland - Fresh, authentic tacos and Mexican cocktails await you when you stop in to Maciel’s East Memphis location. The back patio has plenty of seating for groups.
• Elwood's Shack* - Try Memphis’ favorite non-traditional fish taco, great BBQ, and blue cheese jalapeno slaw while you sit at an Elwood’s picnic table. BYOB for Sunday brunch, too.
• Ciao Bella - What could be more Italian than pasta, pies, and fresh seafood on Ciao Bella’s cozy al fresco patio?
• Las Delicias on Quince - We recommend a margarita and some of Las Delicias’ fresh guacamole to go with your table at this beloved local Mexican joint.

• Brookhaven Pub* - For a covered patio with a sports bar feel, Brookhaven Pub’s outdoor area hits the spot. (Temporarily closed for renovations.)
• Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen - Enjoy house-cured meats, inventive seafood, and plenty of pasta at the outdoor bar at Andrew Michael’s flagship restaurant.


• Kooky Canuck - Take on the Kookamunga giant burger challenge (and wash it down with a super-sized drink) out-of-doors at Kooky Canuck’s Cordova location.
• Russo's New York Pizzeria* - Take the whole family to Russo’s patio for NYC-style pizza and other Italian favorites in Germantown.
• The Half Shell Southwind - A long-time Memphis favorite for seafood, the Half Shell’s Southwind location has plenty of covered patio seating.
• Mesquite Chop House - Take your upscale steakhouse night out and move it onto the swanky patio at Mesquite Chop House’s Germantown location.
• Huey's - You’ll find Huey’s locations all over town, and while most offer at least a couple outside tables, the Southwind spot has a spacious patio on which to get your cheese fries, burgers, and brews.
