Where To Find Memphis Food Trucks

In need of a mobile meal on wheels? Memphis has tons of options: fresh fried shrimp, Barbecue, burritos, grilled cheese, tacos, po' boys…

Here’s a list of places and ways to find such Memphis food trucks.

1. Court Square Food Truck Thursdays

Thursdays when the weather is nice, downtown’s Court Square turns into a food truck rodeo at 11 a.m. This has been the best place to try out new trucks lately, with about a dozen trucks hanging out until 2 p.m. Keep up with each week’s lineup by following Downtown Memphis on Twitter.

2. Local breweries

Memphis brewery taprooms are the next best bet for finding a food truck to try. On most days that they're open, there's usually at least one food truck posted up at Wiseacre, High Cotton, Memphis Made, Crosstown Brewery and Ghost River.

3. Farmers markets

You can find food trucks and carts on Tuesdays at the Church Health Center Farmers Market (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) and on Saturday mornings at the Memphis Farmers Market (7 a.m. - 1 p.m.) and the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.).

4. seasonal food truck events

Dixon Gallery & Gardens hosts Food Truck Fridays spring through fall, and FedExForum hosts Food Truck Fridays in the summer.

Of course, there's also the annual Mid-South Food Truck Fest, which will be held on April 28, 2018. Expect upwards of 70 food trucks from all across the southeast (and beyond) gathered at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

OTHER PLACES TO FIND FOOD TRUCKS:

• Raw Girls food truck is usually posted up in front of Midtown Yoga.
• Muddy’s Grindhouse in Midtown sometimes has trucks in their backyard on weekends.
• MEMPopS has been popping up everywhere from Saddle Creek to Shelby Farms.
