Tom Lee Park

South Riverside Drive
Memphis, TN 38103

From the intimate Confederate Park, devoted to the history of Memphis and the Civil War, to the expansive Tom Lee Park, home of the Memphis in May International Festival, the five miles of green space along the river offers much more than just magnificent views.

Tom Lee Park is a 30-acre stretch perfect for picnics, jogging, walking, cycling or just grabbing a bench for the best view of a sunset over the Mississippi River. Take a stroll on the River Walk which runs through Tom Lee Park and connects Harbor Town on Mud Island to Martyrs Park. The park is home to many festivals throughout the year with the largest being the Memphis in May International Festival where thousands gather for the Beale Street Music Festival, World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest and Sunset Symphony.

The green space of the park is neighbored by the newest of the riverfront amenities – Beale Street Landing. This multi-level structure will be the central docking location for the Great American Steamboat Company’s American Queen as she cruises up and down the Mississippi River and the Memphis Riverboats offering local tours on the river.
