Revolutions Community Bicycle Shop

1000 S. Cooper St.
Memphis TN 38104

The beauty of Revolutions is that anyone can get get a bicycle and learn maintenance there. There’s just one catch – you have to do 10 hours of volunteer work (taking about old bikes, learning simple mechanics and maintenance) before you can get your bike. And then, you have to build it yourself.

HISTORY:   Revolutions was founded in 2002 as a way to provide neighborhood kids with bicycles. Eight years later, it's a pillar of the Memphis cycling community.  INSIDER TIP: After the shop closes on Thursday nights, there's usually a group ride around the city.  OTHER INFO: If you've got an old bike that needs a new life, you can donate it to Revolutions. It will be taken apart and used as parts for community-built bicycles.  CURRENT HOURS Sunday: 2pm-5pm
Monday: 6:30pm-8:30pm (volunteer only)
Thursday: 6:30pm-8:30pm   Links to Revolutions: Get Ready to Ride: Build a Bike at Revolutions - I Love Memphis BlogRevolutions on Facebook
