Aversa Joins Memphis CVB as National Sales Manager

The Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau hired Patrick Aversa as a national sales manager. Aversa will manage sales for the Northeast and Central geographic markets.  He will also be responsible for meetings in the health and medical, bioscience, legal, pharmaceutical and engineering sectors. 

Aversa joins the Memphis CVB with an extensive background in hotel sales. He most recently served as a manager of global accounts at HelmsBriscoe, one of the nation’s largest third-party hotel sourcing companies. Prior, Aversa served as associate director of sales at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. Past experience also includes serving as a sales leader at the Talbott Hotel and Swiss Hotel, Chicago.  He began his career working with Marriott Hotels Corporation in Memphis, Tenn.; Vail, Colo.; San Francisco, Calif. and Dallas, TX.

Aversa graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY (RIT).
