Fall In Love With Memphis

At The Great American Beer Festival

Artwork by Birdcap.

We're excited to be in the Mile High City for the 2017 Great American Beer Festival. If you're in Denver for the festival, come say "Hello" to Memphis at Booth #114! You can shake, rattle and snap a pic with Elvis, play games, and take a shot at winning a Memphis-made St. Blues guitar AND a FREE trip to Memphis!

Why GABF? Memphis is known for having some of the sweetest, most refreshing water in the world, which has led some of the nation's best craft breweries to set up shop in the bluff city since the early '80s. It's a no-brainer that we'd hang out with some of our dearest friends - the best of the best breweries in the world and the craft beer afficianados who love them!

We'll see you soon to tell you more about why we're the official Home of the Blues, the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the beer lover's dream vacation.

Don’t forget to visit the mainstage to hear the Bluff City Soul Collective and visit the booth of Memphis favorites: Wiseacre Brewing Co (bronze medalist at the 2014 GABF competition). Plus, if you're looking for other Memphis experiences in Denver, join us as we debut our new Memphis in Denver mural by Birdcap in the Golden Triangle Creative District at Dulce Vida on the corner of Cherokee St. & W. 12th Ave.

Meet The Muralist

Michael Roy, emphatically known around the world as Birdcap, calls Memphis home but his talents have graced walls all over the United States, in Tokyo, Tel Aviv throughout South Korea and beyond. His signature style often features religious and mythological themes, bright pops of color and bold imagery. We wanted Birdcap to help us leave a little bit of Memphis in Denver because he represents everything that people love about our city: original, authentic, soulful, energetic, bright, fun and spirited.

Meet The Band

You'll want to get on your feet and start dancing as soon as you here the sound of the Bluff City Soul Collective. These talented musiciansmet at the University of Memphis where they started “seeking, tweaking, and unique-ing” their sound. The end result: a group that includes a Stax-trained soul singer, a country music powerhouse and everything in between. Like our music city, the Bluff City Soul Collective has no set playlist. Instead, they allow the energy of the crowd to guide their show from the classic songs that made our city famous to the hits that are still being recorded in Memphis studios today.
After you fall in love with the Bluff City Soul Collective on the main stage at the Great American Beer Festival, visit Memphis to discover more of our local artists inspired by the Memphis music legends that came before them.
