333 Beale St.
Memphis, TN 38103

While at the Withers Collection Museum and Gallery, take a break from your browsing and pull up a chair at the Dorothy Mae Cafe. As a tribute to Ernest's wife, Dorothy Mae who often entertained the guests her husband brought home, the gallery has expanded to include cafe offering a light menu of soups, salads, coffee and fine desserts. The cafe lounge is designed to make you feel at home in the Withers home. Specialties include both sweet and savory offerings: barbecue cupcakes or meatloaf and mashed potato cupcakes.

The Withers Collection Museum and Gallery offers a glimpse into 60 years of American history through the eyes of renowned photographer and historian Dr. Ernest C. Withers. From the pre-civil rights era of the Emmitt Till trial, to the history of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., legends of the Beale Street blues, soul and R&B music era, to the founding of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Museum and Gallery is a mecca for historians, artists, diplomats and individuals who recognize documented history at its highest level.
