Crosstown Concourse

1350 Concourse Avenue
Memphis, TN 38104

Though much has changed since the facility opened as a Sears, Roebuck and Company distribution center and retail store less than two miles from downtown Memphis in 1927, Crosstown Concourse is the product of nearly five generations of innovators, dreamers, and builders. Today, having overcome two decades of blight, Crosstown Concourse is the catalyst for the revitalization of not just a distressed and abandoned building, but an entire neighborhood. Initially conceived as a home for a small start-up arts organization, the building has evolved into a 1.5 million square-foot mixed-use "vertical urban village," boasting 13 restaurants, 264 apartments, a small hotel, high school, clinic, sprawling contemporary arts organization with free and open galleries, a cafe, bar, shared art-making space, concert hall, theater, and artist residency program, and so much more! Crosstown Concourse is a catalyst fro Memphis, and constantly engages its community with its packed event schedule: details at crosstownconcourse.com/visit.
