Mississippi River Expeditions provides high-quality custom guided adventures on the Mississippi River from Memphis, Tennessee. Access remote wilderness locations in our big Voyageur canoes and camp under the stars on river islands. We offer complete packaging: outfitting, guiding, cooking, and shuttling. From day trips to multi-day trips, we’ll get you out on the Mississippi River for an experience you’ll never forget. Give us a shout and we can figure out which type of trip is best for you. DAY TRIPS A 17-mile float into downtown Memphis from Shelby National Forest. We’ll meet at the marina near downtown, and shuttle north to put into the Mississippi River. This full day trip will entail island hopping, swimming, lunch on a sandbar, and paddling into downtown Memphis from under the river bridge. SAILING CANOE TRIPS Dependent on winds and number of passengers, we’ll take out one of our big canoes fitted with a sail attachment... OVERNIGHT & MULTI-DAY TRIPS For the more adventurous, we’ll take you and your crew out into this wilderness with everything you need for an experience of a lifetime.
