For group tours of the Museum, sculpture garden, and the Schering-Plough smithy where blacksmiths are at work every day, contact Judy Wallace at (901) 774-6380.
Located high on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Metal Museum is the only institution in the United States devoted exclusively to the preservation and promotion of fine metalwork. Shaded by 100 year old oaks, the sculpture garden provides a lovely venue for anything from a family picnic to a corporate party. Here you can choose the romance of the Riverbluff Pavillion, created from iron castings from an 1890s Beale Street building, for your wedding ceremony. Enjoy a spectacular sunset and watch the stars appear. You may use the caterer of your choice. Grounds are available for rental from the beginning of March through the second week in October.
