Check out one of the public Memphis parks or the Memphis Zoo for loads of family fun!

Looking for things to do in Memphis? Whether you come for the music, for the food or for the most fun interactive history lesson you’ll ever have, Memphis offers attractions for the entire family.

Take a crew to the Memphis Zoo, enjoy interactive fun at the Children’s Museum of Memphis or head over to the Pink Palace Museum for exhibits of dinosaurs and treasure hunting, just to name a few. Travel around downtown by trolley and delve into Beale Street by day, lounge on the deck of a Mississippi Riverboat or put your eye in the sky at the Sharpe Planetarium.

Visit the Peabody and learn the history behind the famous mid-morning duck walk. Satisfy your family’s inner-Elvis with a stay in the famous Heartbreak Hotel.

To get away from the city life and take in a little fresh air, explore some of the city's green space; there are thousands of acres of public Memphis parks. Memphis’ Botanical Gardens certainly cannot be overlooked. Take the kids for a stroll through the blooms of flowers and abundance of small wildlife in the gardens sylvan setting.

The Soulsville Stax Museum, Sun Studio and Rock and Soul Museum house the artifacts from the legends that started the Memphis musical revolution. While the kids may not remember Elvis, they’ll love the fun and funky relics of these rock n’ roll vaults.

The Mud Island River Park has a knack for entertaining children all day with the Mississippi River Museum, featuring a history of the river from the first Spanish settlers to the Civil War and the musical pioneers of Memphis.

Whatever your family itinerary, Memphis attractions offer exciting and enriching experiences for the whole family.
