Short-Term Meeting Incentives

The sales staff of the Memphis CVB understands the many challenges planners face today when choosing their meeting destination, and we want to make your life a little easier.

Submit your qualified meeting RFP to hear from our sales staff and be eligible for the meeting incentives.


FREE RENT at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, FedExForum or Agricenter International

Free rent will be offered to any meeting, convention or conference which historically consumes 2,500 total room nights or more.

The following conditions must be met for this offer to be satisfied by the Memphis CVB:
  • The group must not have met in Memphis in the last 3 years.
  • Documented history from previous hotels or cities must show a pickup of 2,500 or more total room nights. Should your group pick up less than 2,500 total room nights, a sliding scale on rental will be included in the proposal from the CVB.
  • The client will contract with the convention venue. The Memphis CVB will reimburse the client upon completion of the meeting or convention for the rental amount quoted from the original specs received.
  • Groups that have committed to Memphis prior to above dates are not eligible for this offer.
     


    Not a convention center user? The Memphis CVB is offering groups that book in-house hotel meetings the following additional incentive.

    The Memphis CVB will contribute up to $5,000 towards meeting-related expenses for all groups that consume 800 room nights or more. For example, those dollars could be used towards musical entertainment for a Memphis-themed opening reception or closing banquet.

    Memphis 2011 Mad Money
     
    The Memphis CVB will provide a $5-per-room-night incentive on all NEW 2011 group meetings and conventions of 200 room nights or more in Memphis regardless of the lead source. This program is an addendum to our current incentive program for groups with 800 total room nights or more. Incentive dollars will be paid directly to the organization by the CVB after actualized room nights are determined. To qualify, groups must meet the certain requirements.
