Meet Memphis’ Newest Professional Sports Team on Wednesday, October 13 at the Cook Convention Center

The World Series of Boxing, a revolutionary new boxing league, featuring the world’s top amateur boxers in a professional team format, has named Memphis as one of three franchise cities in the United States.

Meet the new Memphis athletes and get all the details about the World Series of Boxing at an introductory press luncheon on Wednesday, October 13 at 12 p.m.

The World Series of Boxing is a unique professional boxing league created by the International Amateur Boxing Association to reunite the broader boxing world and return boxing to its previous position of prominence on the American sports scene.
 
The Memphis franchise boasts a strong roster of athletes, including four Olympians from around the world, primed and ready to represent their new home, and a skilled front office staff with decades of experience in boxing.
