Call for Judges for World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest

These seminars instruct judges in the intricacies of judging the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. The Memphis in May World Championship Ba rbecue Cooking Contest strives to use 100% trained and/or certified judges. Topics that will be covered at the upcoming judging seminar include: the Memphis in May judging process and rules, the official meat categories, the scoring process, blind, on-site, and final judging. Participants will sample championship barbecue during simulated judging exercises with barbecue teams.

After successfully completing a Memphis in May judging seminar, participants may gain certification by meeting the following judging an official meat category at two World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contests.

The cost of the judging seminar is $69 which includes all materials, breakfast and lunch, and is limited to the first 100 registrants.
