Memphis offers an amazing collection of antique shops, clothing stores and art galleries. Toad Hall Antiques, located in Midtown, features a 5,000 sq. ft. showroom with an atmosphere of warmth, charm and nostalgia as you walk through galleries of collectibles, local art pottery, fine French, English and Continental furnishings plus a variety of home accessories. If vintage clothing is your indulgence of choice, walk just down the street and pay a visit to Flashback Vintage Department Store where you can shop for rare items from the 1920s – 1980s. 

Another treasure trove of antiques is The Palladio Antique Group. This variety of showrooms, galleries and studios is dedicated to the decorative arts. In particular, the Palladio Antiques & Arts stocks upscale antiques and fine art gathered from around the globe. Within a short walking distance is Market Central which consists of 100+ exhibitors offering items from rare books to fine china and an extensive collection of local art. 

If you are craving a true flea market experience, the Memphis Flea Market, a.k.a. “The Big One,” is your best bet. With over 1,000 venders, you are sure to find exactly what you need – or don’t need – from all the goodies on display. This bargain-filled bonanza is located indoors at the Agricenter International the third weekend of each month. Admission is $2 with free parking.
