Pieced and Patterned: Southern Quilts, 1840-1940
February 21 - May 17. Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.
Featuring over 30 Southern quilts, this exhibition brings together a remarkable group of textiles from Tennessee and surrounding states ranging from stitched needlework to simple bed covers made from scraps or flour bags.

Regional Dialect: American Scene Paintings from the John and Susan Horseman Collection

Curb your craving for a little Southern culture with this Dixon Gallery exhibit. The collection brings together 57 works by American Scene painters who sought to express the American identity in the early 20th century.
