Memphis Music Foundation

We help enterprising artists and music industry professionals from all genres grow their businesses in today’s changing music industry.

Our programs and services provide guidance, education, connections and resources to help our members earn a living at the business of music while maintaining their professional independence.

We are proud of and encourage the creativity, entrepreneurship and spirit of innovation that birthed our music heritage. These qualities are alive and well in today’s Memphis music community and, if properly supported, can make a substantial contribution to growing the Memphis economy.

The Memphis Music Resource Center is a non-profit, membership organization that provides a learning environment with a dedicated staff and the necessary tools for artists to choose the best path to help them achieve their goals. We recognize and respect that there are separate and distinct needs for different genres of music in Memphis, and will serve them all to the best of our ability. All services are provided at no charge.

The Center is an initiative of the Memphis Music Foundation. We are supported through individual and corporate donations alongside the public and private funds provided through Memphis Fast Forward, a plan for economic growth and prosperity in Memphis and Shelby County.
