Beale Street Landing

Phillip Van Zandt

Don’t spend your summer wasting away indoors. Head down to the Mississippi Riverfront and take advantage of Beale Street Landing. This multi-level structure not only provides a central docking location for The American Queen Steamboat Company’s American Queen and Memphis Riverboats, it also offers a fantastic place to eat, drink and chill out with some of the city’s best views.

Grab a bite at the Front Porch and chow down on classic, Southern-style grub. Snag a couple of friends and drop by the bar after work to sip on a cold beer while watching the sun set over the mighty Mississippi.

Beale Street Landing links Tom Lee Park and Riverside Drive’s historical cobblestone. Visitors and locals will have easy access to the foot of Beale Street from the park, and joggers, walkers and cyclists will be able to easily traverse over the structure using the grass-covered rooftop.

There's lots to do and see on the Memphis riverfront

This grassy area is the perfect spot for a summer picnic. Bring your lawn chair or beach towel and dine outdoors while watching the boats sail by. The unmatched views make Beale Street Landing a prime location for a picturesque family photo, an intimate party or even the prefect romantic proposal.

Kids love the play area at Beale Street Landing - a splash pad, slide and plenty of room to run about. Kids can turn on the water in the splash pad by pushing a button with their foot, causing water to shoot from the tops of large metal cylinders designed to look like reeds. Next to the park, parents can relax with gardens, seating areas and free wifi.
